ASUS STRIX X299-E Gaming – Intel Core i9-7900X / GTX 1080 Ti
E Gaming February 26th. 2020, 6:58amIn our latest build video, we assemble another high-end Intel X299 build, this time using the Core i9-7900X. Check below for the full part list as well as a link to our benchmark results.
* Production Note: If you are curious about the timing of this video, it was actually filmed last month around the time the X299 platform launched. Unfortunately, we ran into some production issues that caused a delay in publishing it until now.
A big thanks to ASUS for providing the CPU, motherboard and graphics card, as well as to Inwin for providing the power supply used in this build.

Hello, thank you for sharing your experience, I admit that I lived the same thing, to such a moint that I almost gave up, I made the same configuration asus X 299 10gb 1samsung mv pro for the windows system 1 samsung MV2 for hives, projects and cache (adobe premiere pro cc), 2 disks in raid 1 and 2 disks for large projects, two gtx 980TI in SLI, and i9-7980XE EXTREME EDITION for cons for memory seen j I have more money I repaired that two Hyper X fury ddr4, 2×4 gb, in total that 8 gb, at the beginning I struggled to install windows 8.1 on the raid 1, because I can not see both mv2, it was a frustration, then I had tests but my two MV2 drives are slow, that 250mb / s instead of 2500mb / s, after several attempts, I installed windows 10, at this time i managed to see my mv2 and installed my windows 10, always the same problem, my computer is so slow and sometimes it freezes, i mean hangs, it takes u n moment for him to walk, when I open adobe premiere pro, it takes time to load, I can not read my hives in real time, I wonder if it is the memory that lack, or these Fury barrettes is shit, I chose this motherboard so the rest are good, but my computer is so slow, and I can not tap the potential of my i9-7980XE EXTREME EDITION , please advise me, I think that memory is not enough to turn such a greedy system.

Why X299 for gaming? Wouldn't a 5Ghz processor be better for gaming? Unless someone does gaming AND does work that benefits from a lot of cores?

i have a real question about rams in my mind!
why you guys always use 64gb in 8*8 and don't use 4*16?
wasn't 16*4 better for dual channel?

hi, i loved this video and i subbed. I am planning to build my first pc with the same motherboard. The only trouble i think i will have is i don't know where all the cables go. Like I've watched tens of pc build videos and every single one is pretty consistent except the part about the cables, like sata this, cpu cooler that, fan connect to this, splitter thing goes here, etc… Like how would i even know where to connect all the cables? It's not like there is a manuel to tell me where to. Please help ty
